Dervilla Whelan and Suzanne Fogarty are two of the founding partners of DLS Partners which was founded in 2007 and has since become a thriving and successful practice. With over 25 years individual experience behind them, DLS Partners are in a position to offer superior accountancy and tax planning advice.
Our practice is located in Merrion Square, Dublin 2, and our clients come from a diverse range of business areas. We act for clients in every type of business, from Architects to IT Consultants, from Medical Professionals to Photographers. We also act for a large number of new businesses, whether operating as sole traders or through a limited company structure.

Dervilla Whelan - Tax Partner (BBS, AITI)
Dervilla Whelan is one the founding members of DLS Partners and also Managing Director of DLS
Capital Management Ltd. She was previously a taxation partner in Baker Tily O’Hare (now part of Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon) and is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin and the Institute of Taxation in Ireland.
Her key skills include advising clients on all aspects of Personal Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax Planning in addition to advising a growing portfolio of SME clients in all aspects of business advice.
Dervilla's involvement with both DLS Partners and the Financial Services company, DLS Capital Management Ltd., ensures that her clients benefit from a holistic approach to all of their financial affairs.

Suzanne Fogarty - Tax Partner (BAAF, ACA, AITI)
Suzanne Fogarty, a graduate of Dublin City University in Accounting and Finance and a member
of both the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) and the Institute of Taxation in Ireland (AITI), is also a founding member of DLS Partners. Suzanne is highly experienced in the areas of Audit Exempt Company accounts and related taxation, Personal Tax, Capital Gains Tax, PAYE, VAT and Revenue Audits.
Suzanne is heavily involved with the new businesses that come to the firm, both sole trader clients and audit exempt limited companies. Suzanne works closely with these clients, particularly over the first few years of their business, to ensure that everything is running smoothly and efficiently from a financial, tax and business advice perspective.

Karena Boyle - Tax Manager (BAAF, AITI)
Karena Boyle is a graduate of Accounting and Finance in DCU and is a member of the Institute of
Taxation in Ireland (AITI). Karena first worked with the founding members of DLS Partners during her time as a tax trainee and she subsequently rejoined them in their new venture, DLS Partners, in 2007.
Karena is primarily involved in the Personal Tax and Capital Gains Tax side of the practice and also does a lot of work with clients in connection with PAYE and VAT.

Stephen Cahill - Accountant & Tax Assistant (ACCA)
Stephen Cahill graduated from DIT and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified
Accountants (ACCA) and joined DLS Partners in 2009. Stephen is involved in all areas of the practice and is currently studying for a qualification from the Institute of Taxation in Ireland.

Deirdre O'Connor - Tax Assistant (BAAF)
Deirdre O'Connor is a graduate of Accounting and Finance in DCU and is currently studying for a qualification from the Institute of Taxation in Ireland. Deirdre joined DLS Partners in 2010 and is involved in all areas of the practice.
